STAND offers an inimitable blend of modern academic learning with traditional customs and
local knowledge. Through integrating these two realms of human development, we hope to
create a deeper comprehension of how they must exist together and lend their strengths to
each other in order for us to move forward toward a more sustainable world. Our vision is for
the STAND Center to act as a catalyst for positive global change through the medium of
interactive education and the application of sustainable community development models, as
we believe that no real revolution can last without the understanding and awareness to
support it, and no revolution can begin without the model to inspire it.
Our educational approach is dynamic and unique. We focus on a hands-on experience with
all of our programs as we believe this offers visual, auditory, and tangible elements that any
