We have two packages both aimed at budget travelers who would rather experience Belize as it truly is than pay a high priced resort to cater to their every whim and desire while in a foreign country. If you would like to experience the rain forest with all it's vivid sounds and colors either camping or staying in our modest screened bunkhouse which you may share with other visitors then our Eco-Hostel package is perfect for you. If you would prefer to experience the rippling ocean and the salty sea breezes while lounging comfortably beneath live oaks within 100 feet of the ocean on the gorgeous placencia peninsula then our Sea-Oaks package is the one for you. Eco-Hostel Package
Enjoy the species rich jungle from the comfortable
perch of our tree house. Walk to our nearby waterfall,
so close you can hear it from the balcony! Or simply
meander down our stone driveway under the swaying
rain forest sentinels. Listen to the birds serenade you in
the mornings and let the monkeys chide you to bed in
the evening. You are invited to participate in any of the
workshops taking place at the Center during your stay,
and we will gladly show you around the Farm and
explain the exciting work we are doing here.

is a clean, sustainable and odorless
composting Terra Preta toilet. A clean
bathing area allows you to cool down and
clean up and our nearby swimming hole
gives you a nice siesta spot. You may
purchase meals from our cozy jungle
kitchen for a modest price. All this for an
amazing price you will find hard to beat
even in the villages. Most jungle lodges
charge from $100- $800 US dollars per
night, here at the STAND Center you will
pay only $20 US dollars a night. If you
prefer to bring your own tent camping is
only $15 US a night and you may access

Sea-Oaks Package
Stay comfortably in our hardwood two bedroom cabin on the
white sands of the Placencia peninsula. Both the interior and
exterior are constructed of beautiful hardwoods that glow with
warmth. Ceiling fans will keep you cool and comfortable when
you are not on the huge veranda enjoying the sea breeze. All
the expected amenities such as a flushing toilet, heated shower,
and a simple DVD system are included as well as a full kitchen,
spacious refrigerator, and plenty of fresh ocean air. The house
will sleep up to five people. Our friendly Garifuna caretaker,
Sally,will be happy to provide you with meals, laundry services,
and housekeeping while at the Sea-Oaks for modest prices.
Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, snorkel around stunning coral
heads a stone's throw away from the shoreline, gaze at the
emerald islands as they emerge from the morning mists and
catch some culture in nearby Seine Bight or Placencia villages.
Then fall asleep to the oceans rollicking lullaby. You would be
hard pressed to find a simple room on this peninsula for less
than $75 US a night, but you can rent the Sea-breeze for only
$50 US per night. This is the price for the entire house, not only
